Phytopin^® Dermexpert is a highly purified pine sterol (sterols > 99%).

Its physico-chemical properties make it a sought-after ingredient in cosmetic formulations, both as an emulsifying agent through the action of its amphiphilic molecules and as an emollient, soothing and anti-inflammatory active ingredient. It comes in the form of a whitish powder.

REDUCTION OF UV-INDUCED ERYTHEMA

Phytopin^® Dermexpert reduces UV-induced erythema by 12.2% as early as 30 minutes after application. The soothing effect lasts for 2 hours.
